The Transition Manager is the main point of contact for all transition-related matters and responsible for ensuring all processes from the respective sending location are transitioned to the hub as per plan and within budgets. This role reports into the GBS Hub Leader and helps ensure the transition plan for a location is executed as per schedule.
The key responsibility of this role is to project manage the entire gamut of activities for the transition. This includes leading the due kick-off and due diligence, liaising with the hiring team for recruitment, working with the subject matter experts and training team to design and implement training, working with IT to ensure connectivity and tools are in place thereby ensuring that the work transfer happens as per schedule and on-going operations can be carried out seamlessly from the hub.
