Procurement Analyst

Key responsibilities:

  •  Developing and maintaining efficient processes to update and publish the FIM/PPI with best possible market and Sherwin Williams’ specific data
  •  Being custodian of the Price List (and terms and conditions) update process into the system(s);
  •  Serving as liaison and maintaining specific department components of the supply chain, such as inventory tracking, vendor management, process issues, information technology, and related areas
  • Tracking addressed spend value
  • Tracking Prcurement performance, ensuring relevant data submission from CPMs and relevant reports. Working with the Business Units to ensure data provided meets needs
  •  Maintaining project management system
  •  Developing and maintaining a variety of reports such as vendor lists, performance history, price quotes, and other information
  • Performing a variety of complex special projects, which may include compiling and analyzing data, reviewing processes and operations, and developing reports detailing findings and recommendations
  • Developing cost model templates, working with CPMs and ensure all key cost drivers are identified and understood. Sourcing relevant market information and managing process for regular updates
  • Conducting RFQs/RFPs and e-auctions using an e-Procurement application. Working with CPMs to ensure desired outcome is supported. If needed, supporting in the distribution and consolidation of vendor responses
  • Ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations



  • Applying fundamental sourcing principles and practices
  • Preparing, analyzing and communicating data
  • Creating cost models
  • Developing request for proposals
  • Working within a complex supply chain
  • Operating within an ERP environment
  • Prior experience operating effectively within a multi-national and matrix organization
  • Developing and analyzing purchasing reports
  • Ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations
  • Advanced PC skills with expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other applications as required
  • English skills on advanced level.
